Event Details:  Jeff  Graham will provide an update on the current legislative session, including Georgia Equality's plans for work in local and administrative action to help LGBTQ Georgians and all people living with HIV.  He will also provide resources to learn more about the potential impact of changes in Washington DC on local communities as well as walk folks through the 2026 election timeline.

Jeff is executive director of Georgia Equality, an organization that works to advance fairness, safety and opportunity for gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender communities throughout Georgia. Jeff began advocating on LGBT and AIDS related issues as a college student in the mid-1980s and has continued his advocacy on these issues since that time. He has been involved in a wide variety of grassroots and legislative advocacy campaigns and for 40 years has served as either an executive director or board member to a number of local and national organizations working on issues related to LGBTQ+ rights, access to healthcare, community empowerment and HIV/AIDS. Jeff has received numerous awards and recognition for both his advocacy and nonprofit work.

Parking: There is ample parking in the BUMC side lot.  Turn from North Druid Hills onto Briarwood Road and then into the parking lot. 

If you have mobility concerns, park in the reserved spaces on North Druid Hills on the side of the church and then proceed up the walkway to the white doors below the steeple.
